Kazakhstan will mark the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbaiuly this year. Currently, several events are being held in the country on behalf of the President, however, the main part is planned for August and September. The regions are doing a lot of preparatory work. The upcoming anniversary of the great Kazakh poet was discussed in the government.

«Our main goal is to cultivate respect for the legacy of Abai. In this area, we pay great attention to the creative industry development. Sixteen creative centers have been opened in the regions. They have been granted tax benefits. Educational programs have been launched. The ultimate goal is to find talented youth, support their projects, and attract investors. After that, domestic creative products will be supplied to international markets,» said Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Yermek Kosherbayev.
