Kazakhstan to establish open skies regime with five countries

Kazakhstan is to establish an open skies regime with Singapore, Vietnam, Morocco, Ethiopia, and Georgia. According to the country’s Ministry of Transport, carriers will be granted the fifth freedom of the air. Kazakhstan has reached agreements to expand the legal framework for operating regular flights with other countries. The number of permitted flight frequencies is set to increase fivefold with Vietnam, Morocco, Ethiopia, and Rwanda. Additionally, air connectivity from Kazakhstan and Russia will be established to Baikonur.
