Kazakhstan will attract $1.3 billion from three
international financial institutions to strengthen its economic activity. The
Asian Development Bank, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and the
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide preferential
loans. The agreements were ratified by the Mazhilis and forwarded to the Senate
for consideration. The Finance Ministry noted that attracting funds from
international financial organizations is standard practice, ensuring the implementation
of priority government measures. The funds will be allocated to the development
of transport infrastructure, industry, education, and other priority areas.
