The plan for tax revenues to the state budget was executed at 106 percent in the first half of the year. The budget received 7 trillion tenge (US$14.6 billion), which is 2.3 trillion tenge (US$4.8 billion) or one and a half times more comparing to the same period last year. According to the State Revenue Committee of the country’s Ministry of Finance, the state budget received additional funds in the amount of more than 567 billion tenge (US$1.1 billion) over the specified period. Revenues rose by almost 163 billion tenge (US$340.7 million) due to improved efficiency of in-house review and tax audit.
