Kazakh enterprises showcased their industrial digitalization projects at the “INNOPROM. Belarus” exhibition. The display featured combines and tractors with integrated precision farming systems, smart helmets to enhance workplace safety, and AI-based solutions in healthcare and education. The Kazakhstan pavilion in Minsk presented products from 20 leading companies in the mechanical engineering, chemical, and construction industries, along with innovative startups. Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov highlighted that Kazakhstan is advancing toward an innovative and digital economy. He noted that digital solutions are being rapidly adopted in manufacturing, with the number of such companies having increased 3.5 times over the past year. AI adoption is also gaining momentum in mining and metallurgy, oil and gas, and mechanical engineering.
«In his September 8
state-of-the-nation address, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set a strategic goal of
accelerating digital transformation and the adoption of artificial intelligence
across all sectors of the economy. To this end, we are actively developing a
digital infrastructure that includes data centers, reliable communication networks,
and modern technology parks. One initiative has been the mandatory use of AI
technologies for diagnosing electrical and heating grids. Kazakhstan’s
manufacturing industry is also steadily advancing along the path of
digitalization,»
Bektenov said.
