Military-Patriotic Gathering Aibyn held in Akmola region

The 12th International Military-Patriotic Youth Gathering Aibyn was held in the Akmola region. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the participants on successfully completing the competition. He noted that such events strengthen the spirit of the younger generation and foster patriotism. According to the Head of State, the large-scale gathering took place at an important time for the country. In March, Kazakhstan adopted a new Constitution, which will come into force on July 1.


«The Basic Law, which embodies the aspirations and hopes of our entire nation, was adopted above all for the benefit of future generations. The future of every nation rests in the hands of young people like youpatriotic, educated, hardworking, creative, and courageous. It is the determined representatives of the new generation who will strengthen Kazakhstans standing in the world and lead our country toward continued progress. I have high hopes for you President Tokayev noted.


The Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the comprehensive development of young people and highlighted the important role of the Zhas Sarbaz movement, which brings together more than 280,000 schoolchildren and students across the country. According to President Tokayev, initiatives like this help shape the values of the younger generation. The international Aibyn gathering is also aimed at achieving this goal. Its program featured military-sports, intellectual, creative, and military-applied competitions. This year, the event brought together more than 50 teams from across Kazakhstan, as well as from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan.


«Over the past few days, you have demonstrated the highest ideals of friendship, mutual respect, and unity. Well done, and keep it up! I sincerely congratulate the teams that secured top places. Without a doubt, the energy of our active young people and your joint efforts on a shared platform will serve as a powerful impetus for deepening partnership and mutual trust between our countries President Tokayev added.

The President then visited the Shokan Ualikhanov Military College of the Ministry of Defense. He was introduced to the Aibyn App, a digital platform for patriotic youth education, and toured a library and an academic and laboratory building equipped with domestic simulation training systems. The Head of State was further shown modern military equipment. At the conclusion of the visit, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented the educational institution with the keys to a new bus.
