Kazakhstan’s GDP grew by around 3 percent in nine months of 2022. Kazakh Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov reported on the socio-economic development of the country at the Government's meeting. He noted that agriculture, information and communications, construction, transport and warehousing, trade, mining and manufacturing industries show a positive trend. The latter demonstrates stable growth in all sectors, including the mechanical engineering due to the production of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers. Production volumes of both non-ferrous and ferrous metals increased, the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development reported. A five-percent increase is also observed in container transit.
