The World Bank is ready to provide comprehensive support to Kazakhstan. The country’s Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov announced this during the meeting with World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Anna Bjerde. The parties noted the ongoing active cooperation in strengthening competition policy and improving the financial sector’s work, as well as in the preparation of a new law on agglomeration and development of human capital. Kuantyrov also met with Indermit Gill, World Bank Vice President for Equitable Growth, Finance and Institutions. The latter, in turn, highlighted that despite the global negative trends, the dynamics of economic growth of Kazakhstan remains positive.
