Housing prices keep rising in Kazakhstan

Housing prices continue to rise in Kazakhstan. Compared to August, September prices increased by 1.1 percent, according to the Kazakh Bureau of National Statistics. The cost of resale of secondary housing on average amounted to slightly over 474,000 tenge. The highest surge of house prices of over 17 percent is recorded in Aktobe. Apartments in Aktau, Kostanai, Zhezkazgan, Pavlodar and Oral also rose in price. According to analysts, the monthly rental rate in the rental housing market increased by 14.5 percent. Overall, over the year, rents for comfortable housing grew by 47.2 percent, prices in the secondary apartment market increased by 26 percent, and the cost of new houses jumped by 18 percent.
