Kazakhstan is preparing to host the fifth World Nomad Games in Astana’s sports facilities. The construction of new ones is not planned, according to the government. Nevertheless, the Astana Arena stadium and the Alau Ice Palace will undergo renovations in preparation for the large-scale event. In addition, there are plans to reconstruct the capital’s Kazanat Hippodrome at the expense of extrabudgetary funds. The fifth World Nomad Games in national sports will be held from September 8 to 15 next year in the Kazakh capital. The togyzkumalak Kazakh national game has been recently included in the competition program.
