Travelers who go on tourist trips around the country will be granted a special “NeoNomad” status, which means a modern nomad, the Ministry of Culture and Sports reports. To get the status, one has to visit 20 popular tourist attractions of the country. Among them are the Baiterek Monument, Shymbulak ski resort, Aisha Bibi mausoleum, the Tanbalytas petroglyphs, the Berel museum-reserve and other popular locations. Then a tourist should take a photo in a special photo frame and post it on social networks with the hashtag "Neonomad 2022". The campaign is going to be launched in September. In addition, a central information center for both Kazakh residents and international tourists will open in the country’s capital.
“The tourism potential of our city is huge. We hold various conferences and exhibitions and carry out work in the field of business tourism. In addition, we are developing infrastructure projects to create comfortable conditions for our tourists,” Yerzhan Baltayev, Head of the Investment and Entrepreneurship Development Department of Nur-Sultan, said.
