Young people will train for popular occupations. ‘Factories’ for the training or retraining of specialists will be created in Kazakhstan. Thanks to them it will be possible to meet the demand in the labor market and adapt to its changes. Yerzhan Birzhanov, Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, announced this during a briefing. According to him, such centers will appear on the basis of enterprises and colleges of the country. According to the plan, the first ones should open in Shymkent and Almaty.
“This is the experience of the U.S., some European and Asian countries. During periods of crisis, the population were taught quick professions. That is, they don’t require two-three years of study, but two-three month courses, in which you can quickly gain skills, a certificate and quickly enter the market,” Birzhanov said.
