Kazakhstan launched a website for conducting remote sacrifice. Designers and programmers of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan created it for Kazakh citizens in anticipation of Eid Al-Adha celebrations. With the help of this platform, Kazakh people can contribute to Eid Al-Adha 2022 charity event both offline and online, the country’s Supreme Mufti notes. According to him, to make the sacrifice on the website one needs to select a sacrificial animal and transfer money to the specified bank account. This way, one person can choose a sheep or a goat, whereas cattle and camels can be chosen by one to seven people. This year the first day of one of the main Muslim holidays falls on July 9.
