A multifunctional tourist complex will appear in Kazakhstan along the highway connecting the central and western parts of the country, in the area of the Amangeldy village, Kostanai region. Construction work has already begun there. 12 objects will be located on the territory of seven hectares. Each has its own characteristics – these are copies of the seven wonders of the world and the most famous historical sites.
“The Indian Taj Mahal will be installed in the center. Ours will be three times smaller than the original. If in India its height is 75 meters, then here it will be 25. There will be copies of large and famous buildings in Spain, Brazil, Europe and Asia. Also, a bath of the Saka period. We are working to attract foreign tourists. After all, there are no such baths anywhere else. A yurt will be located next to it,” said Sapar Iskakov, Head of Scientific Expedition “Trails of Nomads”.
Egyptian pyramids, a memorial in the style of the cultural center of the ancient Maya civilization, a tulip-shaped museum, numerous fountains and pools – all this will await visitors to the unique complex. Its territory will be decorated with the best gardens like Japanese, English and domestic. The memorial wall will also become a unique zone, where information about the legendary and historical figures of the country will be stored. The construction of such an object will give a new impetus to the development of domestic tourism, and also contribute to the social and economic development of the region and the country as a whole.
“I think that this complex will evoke a patriotic feeling in the younger generation. After all, it will collect the chronicle of not only our country, but also the whole world, the history of 200 legendary personalities. This information will be included in the school curriculum, and by studying it, children will know how our ancestors lived. All this will be of an educational nature,” opined an entrepreneur Sultanbek Tashkenbai.
A hotel and restaurants will be built on the territory of the complex. The project is aimed at attracting tourists to the historical area. With its help, ancient geoglyphs located on Kazakhstan’s territory will be demonstrated to the whole world. According to experts, they are a vivid evidence of the advanced civilization of our ancestors. The project will be completed in 2023.
