The ‘Kazakhstan Khalkyna’ fund will provide 2,350 educational grants for school and university graduates. According to the fund’s press service, bachelor students will receive stipends in the amount of 40,000 tenge. Initially, the organization planned to provide 360 grants, but decided to increase the number of those eligible to acquire a profession for free due to the large amount of applications. Village residents from low-income families, orphans or children deprived of parental care, and young people with special needs can count on the aid of the fund when receiving education. Furthermore, students who are already studying on a paid basis will also be able to receive scholarships. They need to apply by August 25, while high school graduates - by August 17. The requirements can be viewed on the fund’s official website.
