Kazakhstan topped the world ranking of natural uranium suppliers. The country accounted for almost 34 percent of exports of this raw material, or over US$1 billion. The top five also includes Canada, Namibia, Niger and the US. Overall, export of natural uranium amounted to US$3.2 billion in 2021. This is almost 4 percent more than a year earlier. In Kazakhstan, the supply of enriched uranium increased by US$406 million. As a result, the share of the country reached 14.3 percent.
