Kazakhstan and Iran are set to elevate
their mutual trade to $3 billion, planning to take 30 measures, particularly
focusing on projects in the agriculture, transport and logistics, and oil and
gas sectors. The draft document outlining this expanded cooperation is
currently under consideration by Iran. According to the Prime Minister’s press
service, Kazakhstan is ready to enhance collaboration with countries that open
new markets for Kazakh-made products and provide opportunities for creating
modern production facilities. The government highlights interaction with China
in this regard. Companies and major global leaders in metal processing,
e-commerce, construction, and the production of new materials and technologies
are eager to cooperate, as well as exchange experience, technologies and
scientific developments. Meanwhile, the Kazakh government is working on a
collaboration algorithm with Chinese business giants alongside with a roadmap
on promising joint investment projects.
