A special textbook for teaching the Kazakh language will be created for Kazakh citizens living abroad. It will be published by the end of this year. Vice President of the Otandastar Foundation Magauiya Sarbassov announced this during a press briefing. The new universal methodology is designed to teach Kazakh communities abroad, he said. 31 free online Kazakh language classes are now running in 12 countries around the globe. All of them are equipped with modern teaching equipment. Since the beginning of the year alone, about 350 lessons have been conducted remotely, and more than 900 students received a certificate stating that they now have a perfect command of the state language. In addition, the work on attracting compatriots to Kazakh universities has been established, Sarbassov said.
“Over the past three years, 3,500 grants have been allocated for preparatory groups. 90% of them have been implemented. Within the state quota, in the last five years, 3,645 of our compatriots have reached a threshold score of the high school graduation examination and entered higher education institutions. For all foreign students who are our compatriots, we provide accommodation in the student campus,” said Magauiya Sarbassov, Vice President, Otandastar Foundation.
