Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina won the
Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tournament in Stuttgart, Germany. This
marks the eighth WTA title in the athlete’s career and the third one of the
season. The world’s fourth-ranked player secured victory in the final against
Ukraine’s Marta Kostyuk with a score of 6:2, 6:2. During the match, which
lasted one hour and nine minutes, Rybakina managed to save four out of six
break points. In the semifinals, the Kazakh player defeated Iga Swiatek ranked
number one in the WTA world.
