Kazakhstan continues to support flood victims

Compensation payments to flood victims continue in Kazakhstan. The citizens will also be reimbursed for the loss of their household belongings, including appliances and water and heating systems, by the decision of the country’s government. According to Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Tamara Duissenova, all medical organizations have been translated into enhanced mode. Sufficient reserves of medication have been prepared, and epidemic response teams have been established.

“Residents of the flood-affected regions received social payments earlier than scheduled. This mode will be maintained until September 1, 2024. During re-examination of persons with disabilities and reassignment of targeted social assistance to those who received it in the first quarter, benefits are automatically extended until July 1, 2024. Corresponding orders have been issued by the country’s Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population,” Duissenova said.
