Presidents of Kazakhstan and Slovenia, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev
and Nataša Pirc Musar, visited the Astana International Financial Centre
(AIFC). As of today, the volume of investments attracted through the AIFC
platform has reached $14.5 billion. 3,700 companies from over 80 countries are
registered in the AIFC. The heads of state were also briefed on the work of the
AIFC Court, the first common law court system in Central Asia, as well as the
International Arbitration Centre (IAC) and the activities of the AIFC Financial
Services Regulatory Committee.
