Kazakhstan team won five medals
at the 65th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in the United Kingdom, as
reported by the country’s Ministry of Education. More than 600 school students
from 108 countries participated in the IMO, one of the top seven world
Olympiads. It is noteworthy that Kazakh schoolchildren annually participate in
the international mathematical competition, achieving successful results. Thus,
in 2023, the country won six medals at the Olympiad. To date, Kazakhstan has a
total of 16 gold, 44 silver, and 75 bronze medals.
