Kazakhstan’s best innovative goods and services will receive state grants worth up to 350 million tenge. Domestic developers will also be given support in commercialization and export promotion. The Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs discussed the competition terms, according to which, project teams of at least four and no more than six people should complete their works within three years and start sales. Co-financing of a business partner should be at least 20 percent of the grant amount. The projects can be launched in various areas, including healthcare, education, digitalization, geological exploration, modernization of the energy complex, metalworking, tourism, agro-industrial complex, manufacturing, petrochemical and chemical industries, among others. Applications are accepted until July 10. The best inventions will be selected by a specially created national scientific council on commercialization.
