A new logistics hub may appear in Kazakhstan, namely in the Aktobe region. The project will be implemented at the local airport. The corresponding memorandum was signed with the Turkish company. The investments will amount to US$160 million. In particular, the container terminal area of 500,000 square meters will consist of an indoor distribution center, a parking lot for containers, a transhipment terminal for the storage and handling of goods, cargo, transloading and storage of containers with railway service.
