Kazakhstan and Société Générale
bank have implemented 30 joint projects totaling more than $17 billion over the
years of collaboration. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and representatives of
the international financial organization discussed further cooperation in the
investment sphere. Kazakh companies and the bank are now negotiating projects
in the energy infrastructure and financial market. The meeting participants
also reviewed prospects for cooperation in the Environmental, Social, and
Governance (ESG) direction. Bektenov expressed the Kazakh government’s
readiness to foster a mutually beneficial partnership and pledged assistance in
implementing important projects for the country.
