Investments in the economy of
Kazakhstan’s capital are growing. By the end of the first half of 2024, 632
billion tenge was attracted, which is 13 percent more compared to the same
period last year. In total, over 1.6 trillion tenge was invested in 2023.
Positive dynamics is also observed in attracting private investments, which
have grown by almost 14 percent. According to Astana Invest, this indicates a
high level of confidence in the city’s investment climate.
«We have investors in
construction and industry. On average, the implementation of projects takes
about two years, and we expect to reap the benefits of these investments in
18-20 months,» said Sabit Mukhamedzhanuly, deputy chairman of the city
investment development center.
