Kazakhstan’s exports hit record high

Kazakhstan reports on record foreign trade figures. According to the Ministry of National Economy, the nominal export volume has reached almost US$64 billion over the first nine months of 2022, whereas in the same period of 2021, it amounted to less than US$43.5 billion. Thus, the country’s exports in January-September increased by 47.5 percent and exceeded the annual numbers of the previous seven years. This year, Kazakhstan managed to increase the export volume to such countries as Italy, China, Russia, the Netherlands, South Korea, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The country’s foreign trade turnover grew by 35 percent in January-September and reached US$98 billion.
