President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has accepted an invitation from President of the Republic
of Korea Lee Jae-myung to pay an official visit to South Korea. During a
telephone conversation, Tokayev also confirmed his readiness to participate in
the upcoming Central Asia - Republic of Korea summit, set to take place in
Seoul in 2026. The two leaders confirmed their desire to further strengthen
Kazakh-Korean relations in a wide range of areas, from trade and industry to
education and medicine.
