Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Samruk Kazyna Chairman Nurlan Zhakupov, who provided
an update on the company’s performance. Zhakupov reported a 13% revenue growth
in recent years and an expanding investment portfolio of 130 projects worth
over $100 billion. This year, seven major investment projects are expected to
be completed, including the construction of second tracks on the Dostyk-Moiynty
section and a container hub at the port of Aktau. Efforts are also ongoing to
support domestic manufacturers, with contracts worth more than one trillion
tenge signed last year. The number of offtake contracts concluded is ten times
more than in 2023.
