Kazakh Minister of
Tourism and Sports Yermek Marzhikpayev presented the analysis of the
performance of Kazakh athletes at the Asian Games and Asian Para Games in China
to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The Head of State instructed a thorough and
phased work to develop a new strategy for the sports industry’s development.
Marzhikpayev also reported on the further expansion of Kazakhstan’s tourism
potential and the enhancement of the legislative framework in the areas
supervised by the ministry. Following the meeting, President Tokayev set
specific tasks for the ministry.
