Today, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Svetlana Zhakupova,
who briefed him on social and labor sector developments. Over the past five
months, more than 143,000 Kazakh citizens have found employment, while over
232,000 people have received targeted social assistance. In terms of labor
safety, the country is implementing an automated system to identify, assess,
and prevent occupational risks. Workers’ rights are protected by the
implemented mechanism for declaring labor relations. Furthermore, Kazakhstan is
launching an Innovative Project Navigator designed to enhance the efficiency of
public investments and ensure quality job planning.
