The ‘Atlas of Professions’ will be introduced into training programs in Kazakhstan. This document covers both disappearing and completely new specialties in such areas as oil and gas, energy, agriculture, information technology, tourism, transport and logistics, mechanical engineering, mining metallurgy and construction. Recently, 250 new specialties have appeared in Kazakhstan, 129 disappearing professions have been recorded, 95 are in the process of transformation. The Ministry of Education said that with the renewal of the labor market, universities will launch about 200 innovative programs. The ‘Atlas of Professions’ is included in the Program on Increasing the Income of the Population until 2025 and is the basis for forecasting the labor market and professional standards.
