Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received
Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Gela Geladze to discuss
bilateral cooperation in law enforcement and crime prevention. The Head of
State noted that Georgia remains Kazakhstan’s important and reliable partner in
the South Caucasus, emphasizing a solid historical foundation of the relations
between the two countries. Relevant agencies of both nations intend to
strengthen cooperation in combating organized drug and cybercrime, countering
extremism, and expanding the exchange of expertise and professional training.
Following the meeting, President Tokayev conveyed his greetings to the
President and Prime Minister of Georgia.
