Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives credentials from Ambassadors of four countries

The ceremony of presenting credentials to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of four countries - Kuwait, Mongolia, the Principality of Monaco, and the Republic of El Salvador - took place at the Akorda residence. The Head of State congratulated the diplomats on the beginning of their official mission in Kazakhstan and expressed confidence that they would contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation. The President noted that Kazakhstan is undergoing a massive transformation and recalled that a referendum on the adoption of the new Constitution was held in the country on March 15. «We are building a Just Kazakhstan and are committed to becoming a country focused on innovation and artificial intelligence», the Head of State said. The President also emphasized Kazakhstan’s peaceful and balanced foreign policy aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation with other countries. He highlighted important upcoming events in the country. Next week, the President of Mongolia is expected to pay a visit, followed by the Regional Ecological Summit under the auspices of the UN in Astana and a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

«I think Kazakhstan and Mongolia have a strategic partnership between the two countries. President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh will also attend the very important international event in Astana, the Regional Ecological Summit,» noted Mongolian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Gunaajav Batjargal.
