Kazakh President receives Chair of Constitutional Court

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Chairperson of the Constitutional Court, Elvira Azimova. Over the past 2.5 years, the Court has received more than 11,000 appeals. Judges have reviewed over 5,000 legal norms and issued more than 300 decisions, 41 of which have already been implemented through amendments to the law. Currently, Parliament is considering eight bills that reflect the Court’s opinions. Citizens can also receive legal advice at the Constitutional Court Reception Center.
