Kazakhstan is ready to fully support Serbian businesspeople implementing investment projects in the country. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted this during his meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević. The Head of State called on the governments of both countries to work together to ensure the effective implementation of the agreements reached, particularly in identifying several major economic projects. According to President Tokayev, their implementation will give a strong impetus to expanding bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation. High expectations are placed on the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Business Council to advance these efforts. For his part, Miloš Vučević underscored the importance of exchanging expertise in green technologies.

The President also visited an exhibition of enterprises from the military-industrial complex. Kazakhstan is interested in leveraging Serbia’s extensive experience in this sector to enhance its defense capabilities. Notably, Serbia currently supplies military products to 70 countries worldwide.

«First of all, we see our future in the military-technical sphere. Around six private companies, along with our national company Kazakhstan Engineering, actively cooperate with the local military-industrial complex. There are already practical developments, and I believe that soon we will announce significant projects in this field,» said Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin.
