Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with
Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever. During the meeting, the two sides focused
on strengthening political dialogue and expanding trade, economic, and
investment cooperation. The Head of State noted that Belgium is one of
Kazakhstan’s key partners within the European Union. Bilateral trade exceeded
$580 million last year, and President Tokayev emphasized the significant
potential for further economic integration between the two countries. In turn,
Bart De Wever reaffirmed Belgium’s interest in deepening bilateral ties and
expanding the strategic partnership.
