Kazakh President, Jordan’s King visit Astana Hub and AIFC

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein visited Astana Hub, the largest innovation cluster in Central Asia. The distinguished guests were introduced to the country’s achievements in the field of IT and artificial intelligence, in particular to the developments of domestic companies that are already successfully entering international markets. These include a project for the implementation of AI solutions in the public sector, an educational mathematics platform used by over one million schoolchildren in Kazakhstan and abroad, and a passenger transportation service. The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev presented the concept of the Alem.AI International Artificial Intelligence Center, which is scheduled to open in Astana this autumn.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein also visited the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). Since its establishment, it has attracted more than $17 billion in investments and brought together over 4,200 companies from 85 countries. The distinguished guests were briefed on the results of its activities and specifics of the work of the AIFC Court, the International Arbitration Centre (IAC), the Astana Financial Services Authority, the Astana International Exchange, as well as on the unique corporate «Museum of Trust.»
