Turkmenistan expands international economic cooperation

An international conference dedicated to the development of the construction, industrial, chemical, and energy sectors was held in Turkmenistan. Delegations from 56 countries — including government officials, corporate executives, and experts — participated in sessions, seminars, and B2B meetings to discuss the adoption of green technologies and innovations, as well as the attraction of investment. A specialized exhibition was also held as part of the event, where Turkmenistan signed memorandums of cooperation with companies from Japan, Germany, China, and the UAE in the chemical, industrial, and energy sectors.

«We brought five companies that produce building materials. We consider the Turkmen market highly promising. The products we showcased here include ventilation equipment, insulation materials, and soft roofing,» said Yelena Kozlova, consultant at the Ryazan Export Center, Russia.

«We are focused on the fertilizer part and the nitrogen fertilizer part. So we are very experienced to project the chemical plant. So we hope that we will cooperate with the government of Turkmenistan to execute some chemical projects and then provide a good relationship between Turkmenistan and China,» said Zhen Hao, representative of Wuhuan Engineering, China.
