Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting in
connection with the change in the situation on global markets, including the
decline in energy resource prices and basic goods due to tariff conflicts. The Head
of State instructed that the action plan by the government and local executive
bodies be completed in the shortest possible time in the context of the financial
and economic crisis. The main goal is to prevent a slowdown in the growth rate
and volume of attracted investments. President Tokayev emphasized that the
economic development priorities he announced for the country would be
implemented, including large infrastructure projects, modernization of
agriculture and the transport and logistics sector.
