Kazakh President briefed on Defense Ministry’s work

Kazakh peacekeepers have successfully completed their mission in the Golan Heights. Their contribution to maintaining peace and security has received high international recognition. This was reported to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by Defense Minister Dauren Kossanov. He also informed about the deployment of the third national contingent to the Golan Heights. The Minister further briefed the President on the army’s combat training, the introduction of digital technologies, and the upcoming “Batyl Toitarys” military exercises.  Particular attention was given to military-patriotic education of youth, including preparations for the International Military-Patriotic Youth Gathering “Aibyn-2026,” scheduled for June 21 to 27 in Burabai. Following the meeting, President Tokayev set tasks aimed at further strengthening the combat readiness of the Armed Forces and advancing the digital transformation of the army.
