360 scientific projects, over 9,000 publications, and more than 500 startups. This is the work carried out over the past 13 years by one of the leading centers for higher education, research, and innovation in the Central Asian region - Nazarbayev University. The university aims to rank among the top two in the CIS countries. Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov reviewed the university’s development plans, as well as those for Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and the technopark. He was introduced to developments in healthcare, artificial intelligence, and the mining and metallurgy sectors at the technopark. All of these solutions are being commercialized and are already being exported to foreign markets. To ensure their effectiveness, they undergo a grading process. Among the successful projects are CodiPlay, used by schoolchildren in 10 countries, «Smartview Innovation» aimed at improving the efficiency of mining, and a medical startup for the production of stents and catheters. Bektenov was also presented with 10 new developments with commercial potential. Overall, 32 Kazakh companies operate in the technopark, which houses an experimental workshop, a digital prototyping laboratory, and provides opportunities within a special economic zone.
