Six Kazakh teams ranked among the
best at the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival 2023 held for the third
time. Kazakhstan was represented by children aged eight to 17 who competed in categories
such as Robokids, Engineers of Future, Mechatronics, Boat Racing, Hackathon,
and VEX Robotics. Overall, the festival featured 293 teams from 11 countries,
including the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Turkey,
Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. It is noteworthy that the
main goal of the event is to promote digital education and develop 21st century
skills among students. Besides, it helps to explore international experience in
the field of innovation and digitalization.
