Kazakhstan plans to introduce an integrated approach to scientific and technical education. Experts are currently working on a roadmap for the development of a system called STEM, which will introduce innovations at the national level. The document providing for the creation of a new model of modern education consists of 11 areas. First of all, it is a professional development of teachers. Already at the end of this year, training courses for more than 100 professionals will start in each region of the country, who will study the new model of learning. In the coming weeks, video lessons on STEM literacy in Kazakh and Russian languages will become available for every school in the country. A special platform was created for that. In addition, there is now a community of STEM teachers in Kazakhstan. Last year, as part of a pilot project, more than 197,000 people improved their professional skills.
