It was highlighted that in 2023, the volume of Chinese investments in Kazakhstan’s economy grew by 16 percent to $1.8 billion.

«We have 45 projects underway totaling $14.5 billion so far. There are over 4,700 enterprises operating with Chinese capital. During our negotiations, we emphasized the importance of further advancing mutually beneficial investment projects in energy, infrastructure, agriculture, manufacturing, finance, transportation, aerospace, and IT sectors. We are committed to fostering favorable conditions for Chinese companies interested in entering the Kazakh market,» said President Tokayev.

Kazakhstan and China are set to create favorable conditions for developing cooperation in science and education. China is ready to open university and workshop branches in Kazakhstan for training highly skilled professionals. Currently, over 4,000 Kazakh students are receiving education in China, with the government planning to increase the number of scholarships to study there.
