Kazakh, Kyrgyz presidents hold telephone conversation

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with his Kyrgyz counterpart, Sadyr Japarov, to discuss the development of bilateral cooperation. The leaders noted that relations between the two states continue to demonstrate a high degree of interaction. They also discussed progress in implementing the agreements reached, including those during President Tokayevs official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic in August this year. During the conversation, Kazakh President congratulated Sadyr Japarov on his birthday and wished him further success in his public service for the benefit of the brotherly Kyrgyz people. He also emphasized that he highly values President Japarov’s personal contribution to expanding bilateral cooperation based on the principles of friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual support.
