attending the World Nomad Games in Astana were delighted by five traditional
Kazakh dishes, according to surveys conducted by domestic tour operators.
Alongside the spectacular competitions and scenic tourist spots, visitors were
captivated by Kazakh meat, bauyrsaks, kymyz, kurt, and shubat. They were
particularly inspired by how Kazakh cuisine combines elements of nomadic
culture and ancestral traditions.
«Our national dishes reflect our hospitality.
Foreign guests highly appreciated their quality, which helps us strengthen
interest in the country through gastronomic tourism,» said Aizhan
Zholdasbekova, official representative of a committee at the Kazakh Ministry of
Tourism and Sports.
