Kazakh and Turkish doctors exchange experience

Pediatric urology, orthopedics and pediatric neurosurgery - Kazakhstan and Turkey will increase cooperation in these areas. The multi-specialty children's hospital no. 2 in Nur-Sultan and the Acibadem Hospital in Turkey signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation. The parties plan to exchange experiences of medical specialists. Particular attention will be paid to management. During its visit to Turkey, the Kazakh delegation visited the Center of Advanced Sımulation and Education, where it was introduced to the unique treatment methods, as well as innovative technologies.

“As part of the Year of Children, we are working closely with our Turkish counterparts. We’ve already conducted an international masterclass. Much work was done in pediatric surgery. Foreign doctors came to Kazakhstan and operated on our babies. Medical care was provided not only to children living in the capital, but also to all those who needed it, regardless of location. We are organizing such international events primarily for the exchange of experience with our overseas colleagues,” said Gulnar Kulusheva, Director, Multi-Specialty Children's Hospital No. 2, Nur-Sultan.

“Today we signed an important agreement in the field of healthcare. Our goal is to exchange experience among health professionals and to create a cooperation plan for the future. We’ve been cooperating with the capital’s multi-specialty children's hospital no. 2 for more than a year now. Turkish doctors are visiting Kazakhstan and sharing their best practices,” said Ilyas Benveniste, International Relations Director, Acibadem Healthcare Group, Turkey.
