The Days of Culture of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan took place
in the Turkmen city of Awaza as part of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked
Developing Countries. The event became a vivid symbol of cultural exchange and
the strengthening of friendship between the fraternal nations. Festivities
began with a tour of the exhibition area, where visitors could view household
items, national costumes, historical artifacts, and sample traditional dishes of
the countries. The Kazakh exposition drew particular interest for its variety
of crafts - from unique jewelry made by Kazakh artisans to a model of a yurt.
The Azerbaijani delegation captivated the audience with folk songs and dances. The
culmination of the celebrations was a joint concert by artists from Kazakhstan,
Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan, creating an atmosphere of unity and friendship.
«During the event, all guests who came from near and far, and
also residents of Awaza - citizens of Turkmenistan – were presented with the
possibilities of each country. Our cultural figures, including artisans, showed
products made of leather, bone, silver, wool, skin, and a lot of folk crafts,» noted
Kazakh Ambassador to Turkmenistan Nurlan Nogayev.
