President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a visit to
China at the invitation of President Xi Jinping and hold high-level talks to
discuss prospects for strengthening the Kazakh-Chinese strategic partnership.
On August 31 and September 1, the Head of State will take part in the Shanghai
Cooperation Organization Summit and the ‘SCO Plus’ Meeting in Tianjin. The
following day in Beijing, President Tokayev will address the Kazakhstan-China
Business Council and meet with the heads of major Chinese companies. On
September 3, the Kazakh President will attend the celebrations marking the 80th
anniversary of Victory in World War II as an honored guest.
